Recentstudies of green HR practices focuses on motivating employees to develop ideas and strategies to accomplish the company goals (Ahmad et al., 2021). Further, engaged employees help businesses to identify creative answers of their long-term problems, thus, scholars nowadays have put a great deal of attention on the employee performance, particularly in examining the factors that contribute to it. With employee engagement acting as a mediator, the study investigates the direct and indirect relationships between employee performance and Green HR practices (GHRP) and AMO theory serves as the basis for study's hypothesis. Data collected from 370 employees from BPo’s call centers of Pakistan's IT industry in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The structural modeling and measurement model (PLS-SEM) is used to statistically assess the quantitative data that was gathered via self-administered surveys. The findings indicate an encouraging relationship between GHRPs and employee performance. The findings also support the mediating role of employee engagement. GHRPs is a procedure that improves performance outcomes in relation to real-world applications and outlines areas of opportunity for further study.
