I am very pleased to write my first welcome note as managing editor of the International Journal of Emerging Multidisciplinaries: BioMedical and Clinical Research (IJEMD-BMCR).

I would like to thank all the members who graciously agreed to join the editorial board for this journal. Their hardwork and commitment to the journal will help boost the profile of the journal and ensure high editorial standards. To achieve this goal all papers sent for review, will be reviewed by at least two members of the Editorial Board.

Finally, I would like to thank Dr Izhar and the team at IJEMD for their belief in the Biomedical and Clinical Research vision and their dedication and support in carrying this important journal forward.
